Hi, I’m Kate Wilkinson, the founder of Australia Travel Hub. I help travellers discover the best places to visit in Australia with practical travel tips, destination guides and itinerary ideas based on my experiences living and travelling across the country.
In 2018, I moved from the Philippines to Australia and quickly fell in love with its landscapes, wildlife and vibrant cities.
Exploring the country soon became more than a personal passion. It inspired me to create Australia Travel Hub, a growing travel planning community where I share reliable information, honest travel advice and exclusive travel deals to help make Australian adventures more accessible.

Since moving here, I’ve travelled across five Australian states and lived in three very different cities. I spent six months in tropical Townsville in Queensland, two exciting years in Sydney, and now call South Australia home.
Experiencing Australia this way has given me a deeper understanding of the country’s diverse destinations, from iconic cities and wine regions to hidden gems and unforgettable road trips.
I’m also a Certified Aussie Specialist, a qualification from Tourism Australia that provides in-depth knowledge of Australian destinations and experiences.
Combined with my personal travels, this allows me to share trustworthy Australia travel guides, insider tips and curated recommendations for exploring the country.
My mission is simple. I want Australia Travel Hub to become a leading resource for travelling across Australia, helping travellers discover incredible destinations while making their adventures more affordable and easier to plan.
